Welcome to the new Girl Scout Troop 459 Blog. We are a brand new Multi-Level troop (established in August 2012) based in Tucson, AZ. We are made up of Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes. While we have not been around long already we have been a very busy troop.
In September we participated in Pinwheels for Peace for International Day of Peace. In October we took our first Troop Camping Trip to Mt. Lemmon, during which each girl completed her Outdoors Badge. During this time we were also one of the first troops to sell Cookie Snack Bars. We closed the 2012 year with our first Investiture, officially welcoming every girl into Girl Scouts while presenting them with their earned Badges and Patches.
Cookie Season is right around the corner and we are ready for it!
